Our client, an agricultural based and locally owned business, is seeking candidate for a Sales Manager - Dairy Sanitation Division in the Ohio, Indiana and Michigan dairy market to lead a team of Sales professionals. The Sales Manager for the Sanitation Division will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing a sales team, and building relationships with key clients to achieve revenue goals. This role requires a hands-on leader who is passionate about sanitation solutions and has a proven track record in sales management The right fit candidate will possess a solid dairy background in mid to large size farms, have a passion for the dairy industry, ability to prospect new clients and have a proven ability to create a dynamic winning team enviroment across the division.
 
What you get to do:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the sanitation division, focusing on expanding market share and driving revenue growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 6 (six) sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in target industries.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to make informed decisions and adjust sales strategies as needed.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our sanitation products and services, staying informed about industry developments and competitor offerings.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.

What we need from you:
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a management role, preferably in the sanitation or  agriculture related industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make strategic decisions.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Ohio, Indiana and Michigan as needed.
