Regional Technical Sales Manager (Northeast)
Dairy / Cattle Industry
Location: Northeast (New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan)
Sedona AG Services has an excellent opportunity for proven successful sales professionals in the Northeast America Dairy Industry. We are looking for a Regional Technical Sales Manager to will build upon, expanding our client’s presence in the Northeastern region. To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in both B2B relationships, Business to Business. You will be a self-starter, combining travel, farm tours, and on-site presentations in concert with the respective local representative. An agriculture background, dairy preferred, will be a strong positive. Our technical product portfolio will require technical understanding of our product portfolio and the ability to train dealers on sales techniques required to bring value to the project.
This role will require excellent communications skills, both internally with staff and externally with customers. You will be the conduit for communications to our customer base, so navigating and utilizing CRM software is essential. HubSpot knowledge would be a plus.
This position will work closely with the National Sales Manager in organizing and developing the region and setting obtainable goals to assure success. Solid internal communication skills (front office staff, engineering, and technical departments) will be crucial. Externally, you will need to be able to paint the picture of how our products will solve the customer’s pains, demonstrating the why, where, and how they will provide the solution.
What we need from you:
B.S. in Agriculture or relevant experience
Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager, or similar sales/technical role
Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs)
Familiarity with CRM software
Understanding of the channels within the distribution process
Ability to travel 50% of the time
Strong commitment to customer excellence and needs
Compensation:
